SCHOOL HOUSE SYSTEM

To work for effective management of school activities, discipline and foster the spirit of espirit de corps the school has established a House System. Each student is allocated one of the six houses. The names of the houses are Jagriti, Chetna, Prerana, Shraddha, Anurag and Smriti signifying the aims and ideals for students to work in collaboration and develop the spirit of team work.

Anurag : Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam

Is a Vedantic dictum that appears in the Maha Upanishad which means the entire world is one family. It is only the small-minded who discriminate between kin and stranger; while for the magnanimous, the entire world is a family. There should be feeling of love for whole mankind.

Chetana : Tamaso Ma jyotirgamaya

This shlok from Brahadaranyaka upnishad prays to lead us from darkness of ignorance to light of knowledge, lead us from despair to hope. It will ultimately lead us to soul consciousness -chetana.

Jagriti - Ahinsa Parmo Dharma

Nonviolence is the highest virtue. The virtue always promoted by Mahatma Gandhi is very opt in today's nuclear weapons world. It Is very necessary for the awakening - Jagriti against violence.

Prerana: Karmanye Vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kkadachan

This famous quote from Bhagvad Geeta teaches us to concentrate on doing work and not to focus on results. It emphasises that inspiration - prerana behind any work should not depend on outcomes.

Shraddha: Satymev Jayate

This mantra from Mundaka Upnishad says " Truth alone Triumphs".It's a national motto of India which always reminds that we should always keep faith - Shraddha on the virtue of truth, follow the path of truth in our life.

Smriti: Vidya Dadati Vinayam

(Education gives humbleness.) Knowledge brings humility.Enlightenment obtained through the acquisition of complete and true knowledge gives the bearer discipline and manners, humbleness. Then you will be remembered - create Smriti - by these qualities.
